LEXI MILLS
Lexi Mills is a multi-award-winning digital marketing expert, specialising in integrating PR and SEO at both strategic and tactical levels. She’s President of The Future of Search Foundation and CEO of Shift6, an international consultancy that provides professional services and training to agencies, corporations, government entities and investors. Lexi’s research focuses on the opportunities, ethics and risks of artificial intelligence within sectors such as internet search and healthcare, and the effects of emerging technologies on consumer behaviour.
Lexi combines technical search algorithm knowledge with psychology to create measurable, data-driven, but emotionally intelligent communications strategies that create healthy working relationships between humans and machines.
For more than eight years, she’s been part of core teams responsible for the communications, marketing and investment strategies of startups, SMEs, corporations and agencies within e-commerce, finance and technology sectors. Lexi is based in London and New York but works with B2B and B2C brands across the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia, Europe and Africa.

MELISSA TIREY
Melissa is COO of Shift6 and has over 15 years experience in digital marketing and specializes in seamlessly integrating the precision and expertise of the communications team with the digital measurement tools to help you target, reach and convert your audience. Melissa is also the Vice President of the Future of Search Foundation, which is focused on how humans and machines change the search landscape with the goal of building best practices for a logical, sustainable and healthy search environment.
She has executed successful integrated PR projects for clients across fashion, tech, medical, arts and e-commerce sectors. Her role involves making sure we are tracking the right information, reporting and delivering against our core objectives alongside building and designing data systems to inform strategic decisions.
She has worked extensively in B2C and B2B marketing across the USA, Europe and Canada. Her background in neuroscience supports the team and consulting specialists in ensuring the scientific accuracy of media materials.

BETHANY WEISS FLORADAY
With more than 20 years of public relations experience and deep expertise in the technology sector, Bethany serves as both an independent consultant and a contractor for leading communications firms. Possessing a critical blend of strategic counsel and media relations acumen, she provides clients with creative public relations programs guaranteed to reach the right audiences.
Bethany has designed and implemented innovative, results-generating campaign strategies for a variety of organizations from early-stage startups to global corporations, such as Dell, Hitachi Vantara, NVIDIA, IBM, Autodesk and VeriSign.
Previously, Bethany worked at PPR Worldwide, Dynamo, Blanc & Otus Public Relations and The Weber Group (now Weber Shandwick) where she managed PR programs for F500 clients, as well as emerging technology companies. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Bethany earned a B.S. in journalism and mass communication.

RHIAN HUMPHRIES
Rhian is a seasoned communications consultant who has worked with a range of early-stage startups, technology, consumer, B2B and fintech clients, including Indiegogo, SoFi, Aspiration, LifeLock, Ashley Chloe, and more. Rhian was previously with, Atomic, 2010 tech PR agency of the year, and its sister agency H3O. After graduating from the University of Warwick in England, Rhian worked in marketing and advertising at London-based agency TCA, developing integrated campaigns for high-profile clients including Disney and Amex.

NIKKI AFARGAN
Nikki is an experienced project and people manager with over 10 years of overall experience in operations, logistics, production and relationship management and communication.
She has a love for systems, process and efficiency and is exceptional at managing budgets and schedules. She is critical to keeping our team moving in an efficient manner.
Her experience in event management and influencer engagement is a core skill he brings to our onsite and offsite work such as the experiential events and media meet ups run for clients and Shift6.

NICK MOREY
With over a decade of PR experience, Nick specialises in creative campaign strategy, consumer and corporate technologies, lifestyle PR, and delivering strong, award-winning results for clients.
Nick has run hardware and software reviews and influencer programs, devised his own influencer tool for predicting ROI, and has created awarding winning – and in some cases record breaking – campaigns for high profile and start-up clients alike. He has been responsible for growth and P&Ls, and headed up PR offices in San Francisco and New York.
Nick is hugely experienced with cutting-edge tech, having launched over 150 mobile apps, 40+ tech crowdfunding projects, and also becoming the world’s first head of a PR agency Virtual Reality division.
At Shift6, Nick is responsible for creating content that resonates with end-users, and can often be found behind the scenes, tinkering with messaging and strategy, and devising pitches and angles based on countless hours of journalist and publication research. In addition to creative strategy, content development, and media relations, Nick often takes on project management role, using his mentoring and leadership skills to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
When not out hiking, Nick is a keen gamer, and likes to stay on top of news, political climates and activism, and spends a lot of time at the intersection of pop/meme culture and tech.

GEMMA DODD
Gemma Dodd is our lead creative and fashion specialist.
Gemma is a professional stylist, prop designer and photographer. She is also an active journalist covering lifestyle, films, culture and fashion.
She works with us to research and formulate authoritative written content for our clients. She creates social media content, provides photography services, and designs props for stunts. Gemma also conducts media and blogger relations/ outreach for our clients alongside consulting on strategy.
She has over 10 years experience in fashion and design working for some of the worlds biggest brands such as Top Shop. Alongside an exceptional understanding of trend development and what drives consumers to purchase online.

EVA VALDEBENITO
Trained in New York City under one of the best Public Relations agencies in the world. Transitioned to the world of Silicon Valley startups 7 years ago. Has since focused on working with startups of all sizes helping them reach their communications goals.
Ambitious and proactive personality has led to her proven track record of success. Experience includes top household names such as Ketel One, 3m, Coca-Cola, DropBox and much more. Top work in key industries include: cyber security work for SafeGuard Cyber, general tech media outreach with CDN jsDelivr, enterprise tech work with Lucidworks, and more.
Experience creating effective and groundbreaking brand stories along with relationships between industry leaders and influencers has aided in building award winning and effective campaigns.

FIONA CHOW
Fiona is a marketing communication expert with almost two decades of experience. She specialises in creating compelling corporate narratives that are rooted in commercial objectives. She has worked across marketing tech, consumer tech, blockchain and professional services. She is based in Manchester, UK.

DEBBIE ALCOCK
Debbie trained in marketing and communications. Since then, she has spent 15 years honing her skill-set in the operations and project side of management. Managing operational and administrative functions within the company and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within the required timeframe, she works with the senior and junior teams to keep them all on track and delivering results without delay.
She is a meticulous person with an eye for detail and a passion for processes, including research and admin. A key part of her role is to ensure that even at peak times quality always remains high and nothing gets forgotten. Debbie has strong event management experience as is responsible for the coordination and delivery of press events and journalist consulting board meet ups. A self-proclaimed “people person”, she works hard on building and maintaining relationships. There is a certain creativity to efficiency and project management draws on both in order to find that perfect balance in making things work.

AMY HATHORN
Amy Hathorn is a junior PR Consultant.
Amy has over 15 years’ experience in the health and wellness sector. She is a qualified yoga instructor and massage therapist, and also has extensive experience in caring and healthwork support for vulnerable adults.
Bright, energetic, and detail-oriented, Amy is responsible for editing and proofreading content, researching media, and developing press relationships for clients, as well as executing directed elements of media strategy and campaigns.

KEVIN MAXWELL
Kevin worked as a broadcast journalist for 20 years, the last decade of which was primarily spent covering business and finance. His employers included Bloomberg, the BBC, the Associated Press, Sky News and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ie. the Aussie version of the BBC).
Although he did some reporting, he mainly worked off-screen as a senior producer. His duties including running news and forward planning desks, video editing, writing and subbing scripts, booking guests and satellites, putting live programs to air, researching stories and writing up briefs for presenters and reporters.
Kevin moved into PR on his return to the UK in 2009 and specialises in generating in coverage in a range of national and media titles – specially with tech, B2B, B2C, business & commerce clients.
